XMRUSD trade ideas

XMR UpdateLines and connections have been averaged on step-line over log for higher precision. Formation is confirmed (in blue) by multiple points, especially on the 'monthly' interval. The red trend line is unfortunately invalid, as the first peak created too much empty space, which is usually the number one cause for a formation to bust at the end. I used to like Monero until it busted a key support area (see previous chart) and so it's generally speaking a clear short until further notice . Technically there is some headroom for a retest towards 65 but ultimately you'll see another drop by the end of this month to the low 40's. So I'm dropping this ticker off my watchlist for a while as I will be focusing more on high-volume crypto tradables.

At the same time, XMR's price is located between the two Fibonacci time zones, so we expect to see a significant (local) top (or bottom) by the end of the year. * Directionally, we incline more toward a Long shot with the price target area at $85 - $95 level. Monero (XMR): Privacy Now MattersA lot of big players in the crypto space believe that privacy is not a reason to invest in a coin. We believe the reasoning is that privacy is a feature that might be added to any big coin out there to increase its appeal. While we don't presume to debate the blockchain technology details, we do know one thing. With the communist Chinese saying they want to dominate blockchain and the American socialist left rising fast, one thing is sure. Governments want to either track your money, take your money, or both. So, in our view, privacy - once considered dead - is THE economic issue for the wealthy headed into 2020. Looking at the chart of the highest-profile privacy play Monero (XMR), we see a breakout above a significant Fib resistance level near 60. This Fib speed line has stonewalled Monero (XMR) all year. Bottom Line: We think Monero (XMR) is breaking out. For us, the risk-reward is beneficial to get involved now and bet the privacy theme grows over time.

MONERO SHOWING SIGNS OF MAJOR POSSIBLE BOTTOM: XMRUSD The risk/return profile is very attractive with the current structure, as shown with the stop just under the current lows (with a daily close; manual stop) and a hard stop set (automated stop). The weekly chart below shows we are trading in the same range before the second half of the 2017 rally. Accumulation is represented when an asset displays demand consistently at a certain price level. This is clearly displayed in Monero at the $50 - $60 range. When one asset represents one type of behavior in its respective asset class, it is usually a good indicator for the entire asset class (in this case, altcoins, or even more specific, privacy coins). However, over the years I've learned it is better to focus on the trade structure of the asset you're analyzing rather than connecting the web that benefits your thesis (even if it makes a lot of sense). With that said, analyze each asset separately and determine a risk management protocol that works with the overall portfolio.

Monero Maximalists Are the FUTURE!!!Hey Monero Maximalists! “Monero is what Bitcoin noobs think they bought, which is fungible, digital, sound money.” - Dr . Daniel Kim It is my sincere opinion that there is no project more undervalued than Monero (XMR). During the Bitcoin crash on September 24 and again this week, I am salivating at the cost of cheap Monero. Start looking around for anything not nailed down that you can sell for Monero. Monero is the solid foundation from which we will have the next solid and sustained crypto boom. Again, it is incredibly surprising to us how undervalued Monero currently is. Caution! It is very important for you to heed caution as I write this. Just because you and I know the intrinsic value of Monero, does not necessarily mean that the rest of the statist influenced world “sees it.” Sometimes we can see things so perfectly that we forget the simple fact that the masses do not “see it” at least, not yet. It is important for us not to lose sight of the bigger picture; that the irrational masses do not care for Monero or are ignorant of its offering. In taking the insanity of the masses into account we can safely assert that the best game plan with Monero is to use it as your true crypto savings account. No other crypto currency will provide you with the level of security that Monero offers you. That is, live, work and play with the rest of crypto currencies but use Monero as your special stash. That is what I practice. That is what I preach. It is important in times like this to realize that I could be so correct in the long term assessment, that we could miss out on how things could unfold in the short term. That is, you could predict the future so well that you forget the insanity of the masses. Good news!!! Because of the insanity of the masses, we stand to make incredible future gains! While everyone was freaking out on September 24, we were in awe of discounts in the crypto market. Most notably, that Monero price!!! I am buying Monero and you should too! These prices cannot be passed up on! One thing to note is that many Bitcoiners agree totally with the importance of fungibility and privacy. Unfortunately, there is some sort of cognitive dissonance amongst many Bitcoiners. As much as they agree fully with Monero being better than Bitcoin ( BTC ), they cannot seem to move beyond BTC as their top pick. Elliptic (a blockchain analysis government contractor) raised $23 million to use artificial intelligence and machine learning to spy on you. These same Bitcoiners that still prefer BTC over XMR are on their way to being blacklisted and abused by financial institutions. I do expect a large number of BTC maximalists to become Monero maximalists in the future. The cognitive Bitcoiner dissonance cannot last forever. If the trend of surveillance continues, then in my humble opinion, it would be idiotic for a BTC maximalist not to flee to Monero. Monero (XMR): The Heart BreakerPrivacy fans will no doubt be intrigued by the rally in Monero (XMR) today. The catalyst for the rally in Monero (XMR) is supposedly related to the fact that Bitcoin, not a privacy coin, was involved in a justice department bust of a massive online child porn operation. According to news, the NY firm Chainalysis helped investigators read transactions on the Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain and trace them back to the sources. One of the keys to the bust was the blockchain was used to trace transactions back to exchanges. The Know Your Customer (KYC) research done by exchanges Just looking at the chart, Monero (XMR) could head towards a big Fib speed line at 64. Monero (XMR) has broken the heart of the bulls each time it has approached and rejected that level. XMR has hit that speed line five different times and been rejected. Bottom Line: We respect what could happen on the upside in Monero (XMR). That said, whether or not a coin is or is not involved in a crime is a good reason to invest.

MoneroThe most resilient coin to the pump and dump, probably because it is actually being used. Signs of reversal are beginning to show. I'm long vs BTC. Altcoin markets will begin to form their sucker's rallies and bull traps. The ones that have proven their worth to the trading algorithms should rally to 50-70% of their respective ATHs over the next 6-12 months. The ones that have not proven their worth will dead cat bounce, to trap some bulls, then descend into oblivion. I doubt we'll see more than 10-20 coins that currently exist survive, so be very careful with what you pick. BTC dominance has topped, so the coins that ARE going to survive will also get a boost from BTC flowing into them from the dead coins. We should see near ATHs relative to BTC again. Big MAYBE... XRP to 0.00020000 BTC XMR to 0.025 BTC ETH to 0.1 BTC LTC to 0.02 BTC DOGE to 0.00000150 BTC BCH to 0.2 BTC ETC to 0.005 BTC KMD to 0.00060000 BTC MCO to 0.002 BTC And yes, I know most of these predictions will be wrong, so enjoy yourselves, trolls. : )
