WAVES pretty confusing chart huh?Waves has broke down after making 3 peaks and now testing the support as resistance.
But this falling wedge with a perfect bounce on fib level 0.5 making it sound like one more bullish wave is coming which will put waves @ 85.

🔥 WAVES Strong Correction: Fibonacci ReversalWAVES has been on an absolute blast for practically all of March. However, the $60 area proved to be a very strong resistance and caused the current downfall in price.
With prices getting decimated over the last couple of days, I'm starting to look for entries. The overall market trend is still bullish, so I'm expecting WAVES to correct upward in the coming days.
The main area I'm looking at is the purple area on the chart, right between the 0.5 and 0.618 Fibonacci Retracements. This area is classically an area where reversals take place.

Big pump and dump in WAVESWAVES had big pump and dump in the last few days. Its movement can be clearly classified as Fibonacci Retracement.
If the volume increases in the last few days the would be a possibility for upward move toward 39.22
What ACTUALLY moves marketsThis will be a fun one. It's our entire market theory encapsulated into a single post, and the lessons learned are absolutely applicable to trading.
Here it is: All market movement is almost entirely controlled by a very, very small group of the top holders of any particular asset. Let’s use Waves for this example. The Waves team has a massive amount of Wave tokens, which they have given to themselves upon the creation of the token. From the start, this has determined the key incentive at play. The Waves team directly profits from increasing the price of their token.
However, the way in which they increase that price is the key. They do not need to “build” anything at all. They don’t even need to have a product. All they need to do is borrow or rent seek money and buy their own tokens up with that money. This artificial buying pressure is noticed by real traders, most of whom use trend-following strategies and want to jump on the buy-side along with the manipulators. This results in a trend that in the beginning requires great force to create and in the end takes on a life of its own in the form of trend following traders and no longer requires manipulation. At the start, buying the price up is like rolling a boulder up a mountain. Once it reaches an inflection point and builds a strong upwards momentum, it’s more like rolling a boulder DOWN a mountain in that it requires no effort at all.
So what does this all mean? It means that in order to make a profit, we have an untested but possibly lucrative strategy.
1: Identify teams who have allocated themselves and other very wealthy investors like VCs a large share of their own tokens.
The token’s fundamentals are not as important as who will be giving the capital to fund the initial momentum push, the same people who will get the privilege of cashing out at the top for a well-deserved reward.
These major players need to be aligned such that they will be prepared to execute this strategy:
Use their token as collateral to borrow USD -> pump their token with the borrowed USD -> Borrow even more USD, since the value of the collateral has increased -> repeat until a high enough valuation is reached, and then sell all the tokens. The more capital they have (namely, the more tokens they allocate to themselves and major players they give tokens to), the better the pump will be.
2: Buy their assets at a cheap valuation
3: Wait for them to increase the price of their asset, and then dump it on retail when the momentum starts to slow down
Waves extremely oversold conditionsAs a result of an artificial pump, waves dumped back to 32-36 range, just under this range that are the psychological e Fibonacci resistance around $30. I’ll be placing a limit order at 31.6, with stop loss at 29, it may not fill the order, but if it does, we have much a better risk/reward. It’s up to you to decide. If stop loss is hit, next supports to place buy orders are 26.2 and 21.6.
Personally, I don’t like to short oversold conditions, specially when it’s both 1hr and 4hr time frames

🐹the market has begun showing signs of a short term correction. waves has grown +275% through out the month of march. price is now beginning to form a zone of distribution. it is time to short.
high probability: price makes one more push up and wicks near/above the current high.
med probability: price moves down without another wick up.
low probability: price continues to make new highs.
based on these scenarios, i will layer half of the position in the annotated box and i will enter half of the position near market price. stop-loss is above the high, with enough breathing room for potential volatility near the high. take-profit is at the most recent origin of break-out. trailing stop-loss will be added once the position begins to move into profit.

Waves pullbackIt looks like there will be a pullback if it closed below 52, target is around 43-45. Set stop loss if you want to short.
Waves - Short Term ShortI like posting charts like this regarding short-term time frames as the pressure is there for the chart to be correct(as I am posting this publicly)
Waves, reached a significant high recently and is experiencing a pullback as profits are taken(and shorts are opened) - using Fibonacci and thousands of hours of chart time, I would expect waves price action o behave something like this chart. *Imortant* - if BTC makes a significant move upward this chart likely will be invalidated*
* market makers have the ability to push price upwards to take profit on the liquidation of shorts (when they mark price down after quickly marking price up) - of course this goes for long trades as well inversely
