ICPUSD trade ideas
Manipulation much? ICP (imo) has been experiencing heavy manipulation for several weeks now. I'll go over a few of the possible reasons I think this is the case.
Very simply, the first is greed. I think this is the root of any manipulation of any market although, there can be other causes at times.
The second and more devious, but very possible reason, is threat. ICP presents an industry changing technology that could take power away from those that have it over cloud services and the internet. Just think about this for a minute - BigTech, corrupt government, regulation.. They all have this in common - using the internet as a means to manipulate and control.
ICP is taking the control of cloud and internet services out of the hands of any single entity and placing it into the hands of anyone that wants to hold it. Any application or software service or platform doesn't have to worry about being rejected by BigTech or negative influence from high officials (which as we have seen, leads to rejection by BigTech e.g. media, twitter, facebook, amzn, goog)
so the theory is this.. possible manipulation coming from any entity that is now at risk of losing control of their monopoly.
ICP is what software engineers have been imagining since blockchain tech was introduced by bitcoin. To be able to build and deploy software services and applications to a platform that is managed by the developer himself. To control the internet is to control the world.. and ICP is taking away that control from those that have it.
ICP, Triangle-Formation With Potential Breakout Ahead!Hi,
Welcome to this analysis about ICP, we are looking at the 4-hour timeframe perspectives. In recent times ICP has moved on to somewhat build a potential bottom in the structure besides that I discovered a interesting formation which is a descending-triangle-formation marked in my chart with the waves A to C almost already completed and now ICP is about to consolidate further in the structure building up for the breakout above the upper-boundary which will finally emerge when ICP moves above the upper boundary and closes there as it is marked in my chart to confirm the breakout-setup and show up with further continuations in which it will approach the upper target-zone from where the dynamic needs to be elevated anew. For now, it will be important how ICP manages the potential breakout as mentioned.

Internet Computer (ICP) Have We Finally found the Bottom?Internet Computers chart is looking very very juicy from a technical standpoint. A front page cryptocurrency in the top 11, has Coinbase listing, has over a $10 Billion market, was recently dumped, and now going sideways. These kinds of chart setups don't come too often, usually after a cryptocurrency is released, pumped, dumped, then flatlined.
It' seems like ICP is holding a sturdy support of $100+ in this Elon Musk engineered bear trend. When Bitcoin temporarily traded at a low of $29,000 from the flash crash; Internet Computer (ICP) did hit an all time low of $89 but it was quickly bought up.
But can we go lower? Yes depending on how Bitcoin feels, but so far on Bitcoins worse day ICP traded at an all time low of $89. I do believe ICP will get picked up from these prices in this overall bull market. Like I said I'm keeping a heavy eye on this project and this chart.

ICPUSD Range boundICPUSD seems to be range bound after hitting the overall fib level which is the 1.618 and on the local level it's sitting at the 0.886. You cant confirm that it's technically rangebound on this asset with the data presented but it definitely acted as support before breaking below and haven't retested it since. One could infer that at these levels, Bitcoin willing, that we would see buying pressure come in and we will retest these levels as resistance, confirming the hypothetical range that we could be in. SL and TP levels are highlighted in this position and with this asset I highly recommend using this tight SL with how volatile it is. Best of luck and keep educating yourself! mere speculation of the coming weeks.Hey again, THIS IS TOTALLY just speculation. I'm deciding to trade a bit more on the bearish side. I can't wait for BTC to pick up the pace, but I'm going off of the fib lines and I'm not yet confident it's ready for a bull market. I do sense a generous pull back down into sub 30k levels and as such the alt coins will be affected by this, one of my favorite coins (ICP) that has been trading pretty closely with BTC (though a bit undervalued relative to it, just in my opinion :P ) will likewise decline. of course if the wedge(pennant?) breaks upwards and a trend begins I will trade bullish on ICP and this chart will mean essentially nothing, so do NOT place faith or anything, this literally was thrown together by me ( a rookie) in a matter of 15 minutes. I'm just saving it here more for my own reference :) we'll see what happens! If anyone has any ideas or inputs, let me know! bullish falling wedge perhaps.hey there, this is just an idea. (I'm still fairly new to charting) I know the controversy behind ICP that caused such a quick decline, however I think there is an impending breakout, just a gut feeling. As of today (May 26th) Dfinity- the company behind ICP opened a new fund for over 200 million USD for ICP's production, may be a bit of a perk up for it. Of course this is all speculation and I'm not a financial advisor, but even if that doesn't create a bump, it does resemble a falling wedge, at least from my perspective, though I may have charted it wrong because I'm a noob. icp perfect retest!there is nothing more satisfying seeing a perfect retest flipping resistance to support. now that being said we had great volume on breakout plus a picture perfect retest. also the 21ema is about to cross bullish on the 50ema. target is $240. but with market still uncertain just watch out for sudden dips!
icp/usdi recently studied up on icp since it came out of nowhere. bought a few at this dip. it did come out right before the crash so hard to get any data here but looks like we may have a breakout, but be careful cause market is very uncertain we could drop lower.

ICP Bull Flag (30m Heiken)Bitcoin and ETH look bearish at the moment, so i'll be watching to see if the lower support line holds in the flag. If it holds i'll be buying. If it fails to hold, I think we see ICP retest $100. In which case i'll likely buy as well. Flag pole target is around $300 if this pattern plays out.
Beware the Dead Cat BounceHi folks!
ICP is an amazing project, so it is definitely worth following in the time to come.
However, it should be very clear to every investor that it is time to sell risky assets when you see even riskier assets starts exploding due to pure manic speculation.
As you all know, this manic speculation is what we have seen in the last months, and I believe we need a serious wipe out of these bullshit assets (as in every bubble) before
taking a big position in great projects such as Internet Computer, Cardano and Polkadot.
To me, this bounce looks very much like a Dead Cat Bounce, and most interesting assets (BTC, ETH, ADA, DOT, ICP, FIL) looks to develop a bearish divergence ATM.
My advise if you play the long game and are not already all in, just wait until you see the wipe out before placing a BIG chunk.
For the recond, I am a strong believer in DeFi - or at least a much more democratic and much less discriminatory financial system - but to get there, the crypto space must be regulated
in a way that protects against scams and high leverage trading for the world to focus on understanding the technology rather than price speculation.
Like in every bubble, there are great assets which will thrive in the future, as market bubbles usually happen due to the excitement surrounding new ideas - but it is never a good time to invest when everything explodes if you are a HODLer.

ICP : Ground breaking!Friends!
I am so excited about this project. Speaking as a software engineer myself, ICP is the end game of blockchain technology. Being able to build and publish applications to a "cloud" that is not owned or regulated by any one entity is the ultimate service.
right now almost all software services are hosted on cloud services owned by one of several major hosting services. Amazon web services, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, RedHat, Google Cloud are some of your major players. These cloud service providers have full control over the customers account and supreme authority over who can and who can not use their service.
one recent incident is with the social media app PARLER. Parler was started with the goal of providing unregulated and free social expression via their phone app. Due to "poor timing" and negative media, Parler found itself outcast by big tech. The reasoning behind this is debatable but nonetheless, Parler was offline almost overnight. Many jobs were lost and a tech company was destroyed.
ICP isn't just a good idea, or even great idea... its a much needed idea.
This is my project.. I'm behind ICP all the way. I hope to see great achievements from Dfinity.
