GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone, A PIPTASTIC finish to the week!!!! Yesterday we got the swing range activation and caught a nice move up but the full swing range was not compete. This followed with another test on the swing range allowing us to catch the move again, inline with our plans to buy dips. The full move into 2630 completed the full swing today, catching over 400 pips. Lingrid | GOLD Post-FED Shakeup. Possible Bearish OpportunityThe price perfectly fulfilled my previous idea. It hit the TP. OANDA:XAUUSD made a sharp decline after FED rate decision and FOMC. The price broke and closed below the lows of the past three weeks, which could lead to a fake breakout, so we should closely monitor the price action. Additionally, it broke and closed below the trendline that had supported the price for over a month. I think the market may gradually move down toward last month's low by the end of the year. With high-impact news coming today, there is potential for unexpected moves. Overall, I expect the market to bounce off the upward trendline and the resistance zone around 2640-2650, followed by another bearish move. GOLD → Consolidation after the fall. Trading inside the rangeFX:XAUUSD is forming consolidation in a new bearish plane after a strong fall on Wednesday. The emphasis is on 2622 - 2581. The fundamental background is negative and technically the price is testing the lows. On Wednesday, the Fed adopted a more conservative approach to monetary policy, laying down only 2 rate cuts in 2025, which generally had a negative impact on the whole market except for the dollar, which is breaking through local highs. Today traders await the release of the PCE, which is the Fed's preferred measure of inflation. Any surprise in the PCE data or an escalation of political uncertainty could push metal prices up. From a technical point of view, the gold market remains in the previously mentioned consolidation, and prices fluctuate in wide ranges, which is generally logical for the end of the calendar year: reduced liquidity and increased volatility... Resistance levels: 2616, 2622 Support levels: 2589, 2581, 2560 Since the price is inside the consolidation, it is worth considering trading from the boundaries of this range. GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone, What can I say...we totally smashed the pips today !!! Our chart idea and levels were respected perfectly allowing us to track the movement down with ema5 cross and lock confirmations on our weighted levels, giving us the bounces. The break from the retracement range opened and completed the swing range, which did exactly what it says on the tin giving us the full swing, which we were able to catch for a clean 280pips!! The beauty of our strategy to buy dips from our weighted levels allows us to catch pips regardless which way the market goes. We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 30 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid term swings and trends. XAU/USD : Bull or Bear? (READ THE CAPTION)Analyzing the #Gold chart in the 4-hour timeframe, we can see that after collecting liquidity below $2635, the price faced renewed demand and successfully climbed above $2641. As a result, gold managed to rise to $2651, delivering a 100-pip return. Gold will Go Down Again!!!Gold ( OANDA:XAUUSD )started to decrease yesterday after the release of the US indexes(Federal Funds Rate, FOMC Economic Projections, FOMC Statement) . Gold is moving near the Resistance zone($2,642-$2,620) and Resistance lines . In terms of Classic Technical Analysis , Gold appears to be forming a Rising Wedge Pattern . According to Elliott's wave theory , Gold is completing wave 4 . The probability that the wave structure of wave 4 will be complicated is very high. Of course, it depends on today's US indexes (Final GDP, Unemployment Claims) . Also, we can see the Regular Divergence(RD-) between Consecutive Peaks. Then price continued to decline and later fell to $2535 points, after which XAU started to grow. Price exited from falling channel and soon entered to flat, breaking $2620 level, where it soon reached top part. After this, price was corrected and some time traded near $2620 level, and then grew to top part one more time. But soon, Gold turned around and declined Below $2620 level, exiting from flat and recently rising back to this level. "Sell every High's on Gold"Technical analysis: Gold is displaying extreme durability as despite the Bearish pressure provided by the Technical necessity for the Lower High’s Lower zone extension, the parallel relief rally of DX and uptrend on Bond Yields, the Spot prices (Gold) was testing #2,582.80 - #2,592.80 Support zone throughout yesterday’s session, extending the range to #2,552.80 - #2,622.80 (Medium-term break-out levels). In addition to that, yesterday’s session High’s bounced exactly on the pressure point which is a sign that Bearish full scale reversal might not be far away, but will be surely postponed if today’s #2,611.80 - #2,613.80 Short-term Resistance cluster gives away and result as an #10 - #15 point recovery Intra-day. Daily chart remains an healthy Descending Channel but at the same time, Weekly chart (#1W) is on Negative gradient so only a new Higher High's Lower zone extension test can restore the Short-term Bullish sentiment (#2,622.80 or above towards #2,627.80 - #2,632.80). As I have closed all my my Selling order, I assume no new orders for the moment. My position: The Trade remains "Sell every High's on Gold" and remember as long as DX is Trading on upside numbers, recovery on Gold will remain very limited. I will either re-Sell Gold now with #2,582.80 Target, or await one of my upside re-Sell areas to re-Sell Gold towards Lower levels. I am looking at #2,552.80 benchmark test initially as I expect Gold to remain pressured on both Intra-day and Short-term basis.

GOLD → Interest rates are down, but why is gold falling?FX:XAUUSD falls to 2581. Yesterday's news had a negative impact on the market and it's not about rate cuts. Technically the price confirms the bearish nature of the market. The main reason for the decline in gold prices is the Federal Reserve's caution about lowering interest rates amid the latest economic data. The US central bank lowered the interest rate by 0.25% to the range of 4.25%-4.50% as expected, but for the next year it forecasts 2 rate cuts, which is much less than expected. The Fed's hawkishness has played its role: the dollar is rising, markets are falling. Today all eyes are on GDP and initial jobless claims. Technically, the price is out of the global channel, breaking the support, gold updates the low to 2581. Resistance levels: 2620, 2630, 2636 Support levels: 2616, 2612, 2603 After updating the low, a retest of the previously broken channel boundary and imbalance zones is formed.
