Momentum, Growth & Innovation: WatchlistAs we dive deeper into our trading strategy inspired by Mark Minervini, I'm excited to share a detailed analysis of our updated watchlist:
www.tradingview.com
This list is meticulously curated, focusing on stocks poised for potential pullback entries, suitable for short to medium-term trades. Here’s what we’ve analyzed:
Selection of Stocks in Strong Uptrends: Our primary filter is selecting stocks exhibiting strong uptrends over the past weeks or months. We use specific criteria like stocks trading above their 50-day and 200-day moving averages, a sign of enduring strength. Additionally, we look for stocks outperforming the market index, indicating relative strength.
Volume Analysis During Pullbacks: We observe the trading volume during pullbacks. An ideal scenario is a pullback on lower-than-average volume, suggesting a lack of selling pressure. A sudden increase in volume can sometimes signal capitulation, which might lead to a potential reversal.
Key Support Levels and Technical Indicators: Stocks approaching critical support levels, such as major moving averages or historical support zones, are of high interest. We combine this with technical indicators like the RSI (Relative Strength Index) and MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) to gauge oversold conditions and potential bullish divergence.
Price Action and Chart Patterns: We're scrutinizing price patterns that align with Minervini's SEPA (Specific Entry Point Analysis) criteria. This includes looking for stocks forming bases, tight consolidations, or exhibiting orderly pullbacks without significant volume spikes. Flags, pennants, and narrow range days near support areas are particularly noteworthy.
Sector and Market Sentiment Analysis: Understanding the current market sentiment and sector rotation plays a crucial role. Stocks in leading sectors or those showing resilience in a weak market are preferred. We also consider the broader market trend and economic indicators to assess the overall risk environment.
Risk Management and Entry Points: Each stock on our watchlist comes with a predefined risk management plan, including stop-loss levels and potential entry points. We're waiting for a reversal signal, such as a high-volume rebound off a support level or a break of a short-term downtrend line, to initiate positions.
Earnings and Fundamental Check: While our focus is on technical analysis, we don't ignore fundamental aspects. We check upcoming earnings dates and ensure that the stocks have solid fundamentals, aligning with Minervini's preference for quality stocks.

+15.6% in November: Harnessing the Power of Minervini's StrategyThis November, my 'Growth, Innovation & Momentum' portfolio is up by more than 15%.
I embarked on a fascinating journey in the world of stock trading, closely following Mark Minervini's esteemed trading strategies. Minervini, a renowned stock market wizard, is famous for his SEPA (Specific Entry Point Analysis) methodology, a combination of technical analysis and risk management. As I navigated through the dynamic landscape of the stock market, I applied these principles, aiming to optimize my swing trading approach. Today, I'm excited to share with you a detailed analysis of my portfolio's performance.
The Core of Minervini's Strategy
Mark Minervini's strategy revolves around identifying stocks with strong potential before they make their significant upward moves. The key elements of his approach include:
Trend Template: Minervini focuses on stocks in a strong uptrend.
Risk Management: He emphasizes strict stop-loss orders to minimize losses.
Volume Analysis: Volume spikes on up days are a positive sign.
Entry Points: Entering at specific points to maximize gains while minimizing risks.
My Portfolio Performance: A Deep Dive
Overview
Overall Performance: +15.6%
Total Winners: 27 trades
Total Losers: 13 trades]
Batting Average: 67.5%
Key Takeaways
Winning Edge: A batting average of 67.5% signifies a robust strategy in picking winners, aligning with Minervini's emphasis on stock selection.
Entry and Exit Strategies
Following Minervini, I aimed for precision in entry and exit points. I sought stocks showing signs of breakout with high trading volumes, entering positions during their early upward trend phases. For exits, I set strict stop-loss levels, though I'm looking to refine these further.
Risk Management
Risk control is a cornerstone of Minervini's method. I maintained a disciplined approach to stop-loss orders, though my average loss suggests a need for tighter control. Moving forward, I plan to implement more stringent risk assessment techniques.
Stock of the Month: Vertex

Technical Analysis According to Minervini’s Principles
Trend: Rheinmetall's stock should be evaluated against the major moving averages. Minervini looks for stocks trading above their 50-day and 200-day moving averages to indicate an overall uptrend. If RHM is above these averages and they are sloped upwards, it aligns with Minervini’s criteria for a bullish trend.
Price Action: Minervini favors tight price action and volatility contraction. It's key to look for lower volatility and tighter price consolidation before the breakout. This can be seen in the narrowing of the Bollinger Bands or a decrease in daily price range. If your entry corresponds with a breakout from such a consolidation with a definitive move above resistance, this is in line with Minervini’s strategy.
Volume: Volume is critical in confirming breakouts. For Minervini, an ideal entry is accompanied by a significant increase in volume, indicating strong institutional buying. If the entry day shows higher volume compared to previous days, particularly if it is 40-50% above the average, it validates the trade entry.
Relative Strength: Minervini often emphasizes the importance of relative strength, especially in a weak market. If RHM is outperforming the market and its peers, that would be a positive sign.
Entry Point: A proper entry is at the breakout from a sound base pattern. If RHM is breaking out from such a base, ideally after a period of price contraction, and doing so on higher volume, it would be considered a good entry point.
Risk Management: Setting a stop loss is crucial. Minervini typically sets stop losses just below the breakout point or a recent swing low to minimize potential losses.
Background Information on Rheinmetall AG

Defense: Producing military vehicles, weapons, ammunition, and electronics. They are often involved in large contracts with governments around the world.
Automotive: Supplying engine systems, pumps, pistons, and other automotive parts to the commercial vehicle and passenger car markets.
Market Position: As a leading defense contractor and automotive supplier, Rheinmetall has a strong market position in Europe and significant international presence.
Momentum, Growth and Innovation: NVDAWe have just added a new position (NVDA) to our 'Growth, Momentum and Innovation' portfolio with 11% of total equity.
Here is the link to our updated portfolio, which is up > 20% in the last month:
www.tradingview.com
Here is a more detailed analysis of this trade:
Technical Analysis
Trend: NVDA has been in a general uptrend, as indicated by the price being above the major moving averages (50-day, 100-day, 200-day), which are also sloping upwards.
Moving Averages: The stock is currently trading above its short-term moving average (50-day) but there appears to be a slight pullback, which could be seen as a buying opportunity in an uptrend, as per Minervini's trend following strategies.
Volume: There's been increased trading volume on up days, suggesting strong buying interest. According to Minervini, higher volume accompanying price advances is a positive sign.
Relative Strength Index (RSI): The RSI is not in an overbought territory (below 70), which could indicate that there is still room for upside before the stock becomes overextended.
Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD): The MACD line is above the signal line but starting to converge, indicating potential for a change in momentum. However, as long as the MACD remains above the signal line, it is typically considered bullish.
Support/Resistance: The stock has recently bounced off a support level and is making its way towards a potential resistance area. The pullback to the support could be part of a "high tight flag" pattern, which Minervini finds favorable.
Price Action: The recent price action has formed what appears to be a consolidation pattern after a strong uptrend, which may be indicative of a pause before a continuation of the trend.
Background Analysis
Market Conditions: Mark Minervini advocates trading in sync with the overall market. If the market indices are in a confirmed uptrend, individual stock trades like NVDA are more likely to succeed.
Earnings and Fundamentals: NVDA is known for its strong market position in graphics processing units (GPUs) and its expansion into areas like artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, and data centers.
Sector Performance: NVDA is part of the technology sector, and its performance is often tied to the tech industry's overall health. A bullish sentiment in the tech sector can contribute to individual stock success.
Risk Management: Following Minervini's risk management rules, it's essential to have a predetermined stop loss to protect capital. The trade should also be sized appropriately, not risking more than a small percentage of the trading capital on any single trade.
Entry Point: According to Minervini's strategy, this entry is considered a pullback entry which further reduces the risk of this trade.

Tesla -> Wait For The 3rd Timeframe!Hello Traders and Investors ,
my name is Philip and today I will provide a free and educational multi-timeframe technical analysis of Tesla 💪
After Tesla stock broke out of the parallel channel all the way back in 2019 there was a super solid rally of more than 1500% towards the upside on this stock.
You can also see that Tesla just retested and started to reject previous weekly structure and in confluence with bullish moving averages we could see more continuation towards the upside.
Finally I am waiting for a daily shift back to a bullish market which will happen if Tesla breaks the current daily resistance level and then all 3 timeframes are pointing towards a move higher.
Keep in mind: Don't get caught up in short term moves and always look at the long term picture; building wealth is a marathon and not a quick sprint📈
Thank you for watching and I will see you tomorrow!
My previous analysis of this asset:
Inflation vs Innovation Can the Markets Handle the HeatGlobal markets face contradictory forces in 2023. Inflation still simmers as central banks tighten money supply worldwide. Geopolitical friction continues while economic growth likely slows ahead. Yet technological transformation charges ahead, with artificial intelligence poised for explosive improvements. Investors and policymakers must stay nimble in this uncertain environment.
After plunging painfully in 2022, stocks have rebounded with vigor so far this year. This despite raging inflation and the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance on interest rates. Hefty liquidity efforts in China likely buoyed prices. Investors may also have grown too pessimistic amid still-sturdy corporate profits. But sentiment could sour again if supply chain snarls resurface.
In bond markets, yields continue reflecting dreary growth expectations after last year's surge. The inverted yield curve especially screams pessimism on the near-term economy. Meanwhile, the Fed's bond portfolio shrinkage has yet to rattle markets. This implies the Fed's quantitative easing and tightening have limited impact on actual money supply, defying popular perception.
On inflation, early 2023 figures show it easing from 40-year heights but still well above the Fed's 2% bullseye. The Fed remains leery of declaring victory prematurely. Taming inflation sans triggering severe recession is an epic challenge. Geopolitical wild cards like the Russia-Ukraine war that evade the Fed's grasp will shape the outcome.
Amidst these crosscurrents, technological forces advance relentlessly. The frantic digitization around COVID-19 now gives way to even more seismic innovations. The meteoric success of AI like ChatGPT provides a mere glimpse of the transformations coming for healthcare, transportation, customer service and virtually every industry.
The promise appears gargantuan, with AI generating solutions and ideas no human could alone conceive. But the warp-speed pace also carries perils if ethics and safeguards fail to keep up. Mass job destruction and wealth hoarding by Big Tech could ensue absent mitigating policies. But wisely harnessed AI also holds potential to uplift living standards globally.
For investors, AI has already jet-propelled leaders like Google, Microsoft, Nvidia and Amazon powering this tech revolution. But smaller firms wielding these tools may also see jackpot gains, as costs plunge and new opportunities emerge across sectors. That's why non-US and smaller stocks may provide superior opportunities versus overvalued big US tech.
In conclusion, the global economic and financial landscape simmers with familiar threats and novel technological promise. Inflation may moderate but seems unlikely to vanish given lingering supply dysfunction and distortions from massive stimulus. Stocks navigate shifting sentiment amid rising rates and demand doubts. And machine learning progresses rapidly into a future we can now scarcely envision.
Nimbly navigating such turbulence requires flexibility, tech savviness and philosophical courage. Responsibly steering AI's development is a herculean challenge, to maximize benefits and minimize pitfalls. Individuals need to stay skilled while advocating protections against job disruption. Policymakers face wrenching tradeoffs between growth, inflation and financial stability - all compounded by geopolitics.
Yet within uncertainty lies opportunity for those poised to seize it. The future remains ours to shape, if we summon the wisdom and will to guide technology toward enriching human life rather than eroding it. The road ahead will be arduous but need not be hopeless, if compassion and conscience inform our creations.

Rev Your Engines: Why BMW is Poised to Dominate the Electric CarAlright folks! Today we're going to talk about a company that you might have heard of before, but maybe not in the way I'm about to present it. I'm talking about Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, or as most people know it, BMW.
Now, BMW has been around for a long time. They've been making cars since 1916, and in that time they've built a reputation for producing high-quality, luxury vehicles. But there's more to BMW than just luxury cars. They've also been at the forefront of innovation, particularly when it comes to electric vehicles and self-driving technology.
Now, I know what you're thinking. "Joe, I don't care about electric cars, I want to make money!" Well, let me tell you, investing in BMW is a smart move for a few reasons.
First of all, the company is a leader in the luxury car market, which is a highly profitable niche. They have a strong brand that's synonymous with quality and prestige, and they've consistently delivered on that promise. That means that they're able to charge premium prices for their vehicles, which translates into higher profit margins.
But it's not just about luxury cars. BMW has also been investing heavily in electric vehicles and self-driving technology, and they're making real progress in these areas. Their i3 electric car is one of the best-selling EVs in Europe, and they're set to release several new electric models in the coming years. And when it comes to self-driving technology, BMW has partnered with Intel and Mobileye to develop the technology that will power their upcoming iNext vehicle.
And here's the thing. Electric vehicles and self-driving cars are the future of the automotive industry. As governments around the world look to reduce carbon emissions and improve road safety, these technologies are going to become increasingly important. That means that BMW is well-positioned to capitalize on these trends and stay ahead of the competition.
So, to sum it up, investing in BMW is a smart move. They're a leader in the luxury car market, they're making real progress in the electric and self-driving space, and they have a strong brand that's built on a history of quality and innovation. If you're looking for a company that's poised for growth in the coming years, BMW seems like a great bet.

Here's Why Marvell is a Great Investment OptionMarvell is a semiconductor company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. It designs and manufacturers standard digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits solutions for various applications across multiple end markets. Marvell has been a steady performer in the semiconductor industry, with its stock price rising by almost 95% last year alone. It is also one of the most cost-effective micro-electro mechanical systems (MEMS) manufacturers with an exceptionally high return on equity.
Marvell is a Diversified Company
Marvell is a diversified company with a range of products across multiple verticals and applications. Its core business is semiconductor design and manufacturing, with its product lines also including storage, cloud infrastructure, wireless, wired connectivity, and industrial IoT. Marvell is also a diversified geographically, with a presence in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This diversification, along with its balanced product portfolio, makes Marvell a strong investment option. Marvell's diversified business model and product portfolio help to sustain its revenue stability, cash flow, and profitability through cyclical downturns in specific industries. In addition, a balanced geographic presence helps to reduce the risk of a single-market setback, such as a trade war, or a currency fluctuation.
Marvell has an Exceptional Return on Equity
A key indicator of a great investment option is its ROE, which is calculated by dividing the net income by the total equity on a company's balance sheet. Marvell's ROE is exceptionally high at 25%, which is one of the highest in the semiconductor industry. This high figure shows that Marvell is able to generate a lot of cash from its equity capital through its operations. This shows that Marvell has a very strong business model and can be expected to generate consistent growth in its stock price over the next few years. ROE is a great metric to identify strong investment options because high figures indicate that a company is able to tap equity at low cost. This means that the company has a strong business model and can grow its equity without taking on a lot of debt. This makes Marvell a great investment option as it can sustain high returns without compromising on its financial health and other metrics such as asset turnover ratio and profit margin.
Marvell is a Solid ROIC Company
ROIC is a metric used to determine the financial health of a company and its ability to generate a consistent return on investment for its shareholders. It is calculated by dividing the company's net operating profit by the equity on the balance sheet. Marvell's ROIC is high at 36.77%, which is one of the highest in the semiconductor industry. This means that Marvell is able to generate a large amount of cash from its operating activities and is able to sustain its operations without external financial assistance. A company can generate a higher ROIC by reducing its cost of operations. 8 Reasons Why Medtronic is a Great Investment OptionMedtronic is a medical device company that focuses on research, development, manufacturing, and distribution of various medical devices. The company has grown rapidly in the last few years thanks to its strong performance and focus on innovation. In this article, we will discuss why Medtronic remains a strong investment option with a promising future ahead.
Reasons to invest in Medtronic
The strong financial position of Medtronic is one of the main reasons to invest in it. The company’s debt-to-equity ratio is below 1.0, which means that its debt is well below its equity base. This is an important ratio to watch as an investor, especially if the company is heavy on debt – as that indicates that the company may run into trouble in the future especially in times like these where interest rates are going up. The company’s return on equity (ROE) is consistently above its cost of equity, which means that it is earning much more than its shareholders could expect in a risk-free investment. Similarly, Medtronic’s debt-to-asset ratio is below 40%, which shows that its debt is lower than its assets. This is important to look at when evaluating a company’s financial position, as it indicates the company is mostly likely to be able to pay back its debt even in a worst-case scenario.
Strong Financial Position
Another factor to consider when evaluating a company’s financial position is its liquidity. Liquidity is the ability of a company to quickly turn its assets into cash if needed. When it comes to Medtronic, the company has enough liquidity thanks to its cash on hand, cash from operations, and other short-term investments that can easily be turned into cash. Similarly, Medtronic’s current ratio (the number of current assets compared to current liabilities) is above 1.0, which indicates that the company has enough current assets to meet its current liabilities. This ratio is important to look at because it indicates whether or not a company can meet its short-term obligations while also pursuing long-term goals.
Strong Track Record of Growth Through Acquisitions
Medtronic has a strong track record of growth through acquisitions, having acquired dozens of companies in its history. This is important to watch out for when investing in a company – especially if it has a history of poor acquisitions. This can lead to lost capital for investors as well as a company that is unfocused. However, the acquisitions Medtronic has made have all been successful and focused around the company’s core business. This has allowed Medtronic to offer a wide range of products around the world while also keeping its R&D focused on the most important innovations.
Integration of CareLink with Guardian 2 platform
Another example of a successful acquisition is when Medtronic purchased CareLink in 2015 for $250 million. CareLink is a company focused on creating remote patient monitoring solutions that are designed to help patients manage chronic diseases at home. Following the acquisition, CareLink was integrated into Medtronic’s Guardian 2 remote care platform, which connects patients and doctors while also allowing patients to monitor their own health. This represents a huge opportunity for Medtronic as it expands its remote monitoring capabilities. This is especially relevant as more and more people are living with chronic conditions that require consistent monitoring. This is expected to lead to a huge opportunity for remote monitoring solutions in the future.
Solid Return on Investment for Medtronic Investors
When looking at the company’s return on investment (ROI), it is important to note that this is a long-term number. This means that you want to see a high ROI, but this number is not as important as a company’s short-term numbers. However, when it comes to investment, the long-term numbers are actually more important than the short-term numbers. The short-term numbers are important because they indicate how strong of a short-term investment a company is. The long-term numbers are important because they show the potential for long-term growth.
Solid Base of Popular Brands/Products for Medtronic
Another important factor to look at when evaluating Medtronic is its core products and brands. These are the products and brands that define Medtronic as a company, and they are what has helped the company grow over the last few decades. These products/brands can give us insight into Medtronic’s future plans, because the company has to consistently update and improve these products to meet consumer demand.
Medtronic is venturing into the artificial intelligence space
One of the biggest trends in the medical device industry is the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). AI can be used to help medical devices better understand their environment and collect data/information on patients while also allowing them to communicate with other devices. This can be extremely helpful in the medical device industry, especially when it comes to remote monitoring solutions – which is an area in which Medtronic is already growing. One of Medtronic’s key acquisitions in recent years was HealthMine, which is a company focused on the AI space within medical devices. This acquisition could allow Medtronic to significantly expand its AI capabilities and help the company keep up with the latest trends in its industry.

INFLATION HAS TOPPED OUT!Good day
We have all heard the news regarding the FED increasing interest rates in order to solve the inflation "crisis" we are currently enduring. Some say this is great, some say this is horrible, however, overall this move was inevitable as markets such as this are cyclical and manipulatable by those who control monetary policy. For those who are in the market for a quick buck that follows the advice of so-called pro traders, this may not be the greatest time for you. On the other hand those with diamond hands, the smart money understand the benefits of this very rare occurrence in time. Not only will you be handed a highly decreased asset to invest in, in the next few days/weeks but, your spending power will increase due to the FED's attempt to bring inflation to 2% on top of a substantial increase in wealth once we are out of the thick of it. (2024)
It is not possible to know when inflation will reach 2%, only those who control the market fluctuation know these dates but for now, we need to understand that we are going to be in a recession most likely for the better part of 2 years, which coincidentally will line up with the cyclical bull market structure of BTC. Could this be a coincidence or are we heading for a bull market never seen before? it could be argued that the crypto space specifically has been held back in the recent bull market and like a spring will eventually jump to levels only one could dream of.
This statement will be strengthened dramatically as the world moves into a space where digital currency becomes the framework of the exchange of value internationally and in all aspects of the current macroeconomic structure. This narrative will only be pushed on an institutional level once the ever-desired and increasing space achieves regulatory clearance of some sort in order to enable governments to sustain some sort of market dominance. This idea is widely unexcepted by the retail investor as most feel governments must be done away with in order to open up for a fully decentralized network to govern our financial sector globally... as great as this sounds it just sounds more and more like a pipe dream.
We as people need to have some sort of governance and a system that regulates our decision-making on a financial level or else chaos will break out leading to potentially societal collapse. But on the bright side, the crypto space will eventually allow for a stable deflationary environment where our wealth will have a safe haven to grow.
All we need to do is sacrifice complete decentralization in order to achieve a potential innovation of the financial system that will revolutionize finance forever... In this case, we all win...
